Museums of Tashkent

Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan, is home to some of the country’s most significant museums. The State Museum of History of Uzbekistan showcases artifacts from ancient times to the present. The Amir Timur Museum is dedicated to the great conqueror and his empire. The Museum of Applied Arts presents traditional Uzbek crafts, while the Fine Arts Museum of Uzbekistan houses an extensive collection of paintings, sculptures, and decorative arts. Other notable museums include the Museum of Victims of Political Repression, the Tashkent Railway Museum, and the Museum of Olympic Glory.
